Marion Brossard - TSIP

Marion is a Principal Consultant at TSIP (The Social Innovation Partnership), leading a range of projects that support clients to put people at the heart of their design and delivery. In her current role, she drives TSIP’s strategy and design projects, ensuring community involvement and a human-centred approach. Her past and current work includes developing a civic innovation hub in Hackney, co-designing a citizen-led fund, working to increase meaningful opportunities for experts by experience and supporting the development of the GLA’s civil society strategy.

TSIP is a diverse team of technical and community specialists who are joining forces to drive social change. We support our partners to better understand the issues they care about and increase their positive impact on people and communities. We do research, design programmes, measure impact, and facilitate strategy, learning and co-production.

We lead with empathy and curiosity in order to really get to know our partners and build trusting relationships. Our approach is collaborative, participatory and enabling. We work across sectors and on the ground with groups that share our values.

Session: Inclusive design for social impact

This activity-based session will provide participants with an overview of Human Centred Design alongside practical examples of how design thinking can empower diverse communities to develop solutions and address local challenges. We will apply a few of the tools to your own ideas and interests, all the while highlighting the critical success factors for this methodology and approach.
