Why join the NACUE network as a College & University Member?

Our network is driven by a shared passion for student enterprise and entrepreneurship amongst students, graduates, academics and educators. As a NACUE ‘College & University Member’ you will gain access to the largest grassroots enterprise network and will join our cause in ‘Powering the Enterprising Generation’.

We are committed to advancing the development of education and student engagement throughout the UK, in collaboration with our growing network of college and university members. We champion institutions who are dedicated to student enterprise, share best practice examples amongst the network, foster an enterprising culture, advocate policy changes within government and deliver bespoke enterprise education projects that develop students’ skills, confidence and knowledge.

Our additional products and services are all aligned with practical learning concepts, enabling learners to apply their knowledge to a practical situation, such as rapidly developing business concepts, selling products to the public or inspiring their peers through student-led activities.

We understand the importance and need in developing front facing leaders and ensure our programmes are contributing to the requirements of annual student satisfaction surveys such as the National Student Survey (NSS), Destination of Leavers Higher Education Survey (DLHE) and Higher education-business and community interaction survey (HE-BCI) thus supporting the recognition which educational institutions rightly deserve.

    We have recognised that the institutions within our members network are incredibly committed to supporting student enterprise and therefore we are keen to recognise your efforts and profile your work amongst the network. Additionally, contribution to quarterly newsletters providing insights into the sector.

    We champion the achievements of our members to government, the media and the wider public, promoting your work within the enterprise sector through our website, case studies, monthly newsletters and our annual reports.

    In addition to the services provided through the Institutional Membership package, for an additional cost, yet discounted for members, we also offer a number of tailored solutions to support the specific needs of individual institutions. Our bespoke enterprise programmes are designed to advance the enterprise and employability skills of your students, with onsite support from our highly experienced Enterprise Co-ordinators, providing a platform for students to obtain additional achievements through awards and volunteering opportunities to be recorded in their HEAR.

    Our annual Student Enterprise Conference welcomes the knowledge and expertise of dedicated educators supporting the development of enterprise and entrepreneurship within institutions, whilst promoting your institution to prospective students as an entrepreneurial university.

  • Exclusive opportunities to host our national events, including the Student Enterprise Conference (SEC), Europe’s largest student enterprise conference

    Hosting one of our national events is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your enterprise facilities and demonstrate your commitment to supporting enterprise and entrepreneurship. Our events bring together staff and students from across the UK and abroad.

  • Discounted tickets to NACUE’s national and regional events

    Up to 10 tickets to our annual Student Enterprise Conference at a nominal fee for Institutional Members. For all events, tickets can be purchased with up to 50% off of our core prices.

  • Priority access to opportunities for students

    Gain priority access to exciting opportunities for your students. Previously this has included students visiting No.10, attending large networking events at the Institute of Directors Annual Lecture, exclusive opportunities such as bespoke workshops to support students and alumni startups at your institution. These opportunities are a great way to enhance the experience of your students, contributing to a positive outcome of institutional HEBCI outcomes.

  • Dedicated support for your student-led enterprise society

    Our dedicated staffing team will provide remote support and guidance to your student-led enterprise societies. Additional onsite support can be purchased at a heavily discounted rate, whilst providing exclusive opportunities for your societies to be involved in the facilitation of regional events around the UK as part of a government partnership Sirius New Direction

The National Association of College and University Entrepreneurs (NACUE) is a charitable organisation, with a passion to support the development of education and student engagement throughout college and universities. We work with a diverse and fast-growing network of educational institutions, student enterprise societies, student and graduate entrepreneurs, government and corporate partners to deliver this vision.

Who are we?

NACUE is the leading charitable membership organisation for engaging students in enterprise, following on from an extraordinary movement in student entrepreneurship which has resulted in us “Powering The Enterprising Generation”.

We provide college and university students with the platform to be experimental and creative in their approach to student-led enterprise and entrepreneurship through running inspiring events and advocating practical learning.

Over the last eight years we have engaged over 200,000 students in enterprising and entrepreneurial activities, supported a network of over 200 enterprise societies and seen over 20,000 people attend our events. Our community alone has generated over 16,500 businesses in innovative spaces, creating thousands of jobs and supporting the investment our country needs.

What does NACUE membership cost?

NACUE’s College & University Membership is priced at £499 inclusive of VAT, per year.

We also offer a discounted 2 year membership at £799 inclusive of VAT.

As we actively encourage collaboration within institutions, we are offering a combined 1 year package, so institutions that purchase a society membership at the same time, can do so for only £549 inclusive of VAT per year.

Powering the Enterprising Generation

Our mission is to support the development of education and student engagement throughout college and universities by championing student enterprise societies and peer-to-peer learning. NACUE started from an extraordinary movement in student entrepreneurship, providing young individuals with a platform to be experimental, creative and inspiring in their approach to enterprise and entrepreneurship, encouraging a bottom-up approach to inspiring the next generation.


Today, we see over 200 enterprise societies, powered by peer-to-peer groups, who are championing the success of young people throughout their interactive programmes by forging collaborative relationships with their institutions to provide greater experience and development opportunities for their peers. Establishing regional links with locals SME’s who are keen to open their doors to emerging talented, proactive and enthusiastic graduates perpetuates this.

As a not-for-profit, we raise charitable donations that allow us to widen the opportunities available to young people in relation to enterprise and entrepreneurship, strengthening student engagement, the quality of education and connecting and representing student enterprise societies and student entrepreneurs worldwide.

NACUE is a charitable organisation that supports 32,000 students and young people every year. As funding becomes harder to obtain, we rely on the generous support of donors to ensure our programs can continue to change the lives and aspirations of the younger generation.

Who we work with

Entrepreneurs

Entrepreneurs are at the very core of NACUE, everything we do is to better the startup and self employment ecosystem. We believe that entrepreneurs will shape the future, and we bolster this through our events, our network and our advocacy.

Students

NACUE works with students in Colleges and Universities right across the UK, helping support them in their entrepreneurial goals and connect them with like minded peers.

Educators

NACUE works collaboratively with educators and academics in supporting the development of entrepreneurial mindsets in young people.

Our events

Our events offer the young people we work with the opportunity to connect with our wider network, the experts and seasoned entrepreneurs in our community and the chance to be inspired to take the leap of faith into entrepreneurship. These events are attended by students and graduates from universities and colleges up and down the UK, as well as students from across Europe. Student Societies take centre stage at our events, alongside innovators, game changers and trail blazers of the UK startup ecosystem.
