There are less than two days to go until we celebrate young entrepreneurship at the biggest Student Enterprise Conference in Europe. We’ll be gathering at UCL in London to collaborate, connect and inspire with our European partners My-Way. Expect inspiring talks, practical workshops and more networking than you can shake a stick at… seriously! For those of you who haven’t got your tickets yet (and why not?), here are four reasons The SEC 2016 is not to be missed.

Unlimited opportunities
With over 400 like-minded students, graduates, leaders and professionals congregating in one place, who knows what might happen? Will you meet your co-founder, or gain the knowledge you need to keep your business developing? It’s happened before! We’ve even had attendees who were so inspired they quit their jobs and got straight to work on their startup. What better place to expand your network and get some great insights into what makes a startup tick? It could be just the thing you need…

Breakout Sessions
This year we’ve organised some amazing workshops, talks and panels ranging from getting PR for your startup and reaching your target market, to practical tips for climbing the search engine ladder or gaining funding. You can also discover what kind of entrepreneur you are from our friends Pivomo and map out your journey from idea to product with PWC. Wherever you may be on your journey, we’re sure you’ll find these sessions invaluable. Just make sure you book in advance as these sessions are filling up fast.

The VIP – Very Inspirational People
Not only have we got a panel of young entrepreneurs who are already running successful businesses, we’ve also got three inspiring keynotes from Peter Briffett, COO at rapidly growing startup YPlan, Andrew Webber from Microsoft with Issac Howie Brewerton of Pixel Blimp and Tim Barnes, serial entrepreneur and former director of UCL Advances. Last year Tim got a standing ovation, so it’s definitely not to be missed.

Exciting Exhibitors
We’ve got some incredible exhibiting companies this year (if we do say so ourselves) so make sure you check them out in the Northern Cloisters. The Student Nucleus will be looking to find, fund and mentor a student social enterprise, the Guardian Small Business Network will be showcasing their brilliant platform for small businesses and Mass Challenge will be talking about their awesome accelerator programme. There will also be product demonstrations from our Varsity Pitch winners Tio, a chance to connect with entrepreneurs across Europe with our partners MyWay and much much more. Convinced?
