Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is finally here and we couldn’t be more excited. The 17th until the 23rd of November marks the world’s largest campaign to promote entrepreneurship and we’re celebrating with a variety of activities, events and big announcements to introduce even more young people to enterprise.
Things to look out for this week:
Tomorrow we’ll be hosting our Startup Career Launchpad in partnership with BVCA. Expect a day filled to the brim with advice, workshops and networking opportunities with some of the biggest names in the startup scene. We have speakers from Coppafeel, Tech City, Hide My Ass! and plenty more. (More information here.)
On Wednesday we will be revealing our big announcement. Enterprise societies...stay tuned!
To round off the week we’ve got our fifth annual Varsity Pitch Competition Grand Final. This will see seven finalists battle it out for the competition’s grand prize of £10,000. After pitching at Tata Group’s reception and an exciting bootcamp last week, the finalists are more than ready to pitch their way to success. Find out more here.
Global Entrepreneurship Week is all about unleashing ideas and doing whatever it takes to bring them to life—spotting opportunities, taking risks, solving problems, being creative, building connections and learning from both failure and success. And that’s what we’re all about at NACUE too.
As such, we have created a range of specialist programmes and services for our members. Designed to boost confidence and enterprise experience our Enterprise Society Programme, Design Make Sell or Enterprise Curriculum Planner services can be the ‘real life’ experience you (or your students) need.
